ST CLAIR

RESIDENTIAL ARCHITECTURE

The brief for this was to opening up the rear of a traditional bungalow frontage to catering to the young couples love of sunshine and entertaining. Originally, the back of the house was cut-off from the outside, the clients wanted to carve out open areas to spill out onto the generous backyard which was being under-utilised. To allow for plenty of entertainment space and indoor-outdoor living to the North-East of the property. The space shoots upwards and grabs as much light as it can, filling the modest Japanese-inspired kitchen and entertainment areas with natural light and warmth.
